Fitment Note: This battery fits any vehicle that specifies BCI Group 51R. Before ordering, confirm that your vehicle calls for Group 51R specifically and not Group 51. The Group 51 and Group 51R are identical in physical size but have opposite terminal orientation: on the 51R the positive terminal is on the right side when facing the battery. Installing the wrong terminal orientation can prevent the cables from reaching or create a dangerous reverse polarity condition. Check your owner's manual or the label on your existing battery to confirm the correct group size. This battery must only be charged with a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Standard lead-acid or AGM chargers can damage the battery and void the warranty. The built-in RE-START system prevents complete discharge by reserving enough energy to start the vehicle even after the BMS has put the battery to sleep to protect it. If stranded with a discharged battery, press the keyfob button, start the car and drive without opening the hood. The RE-START button on top of the battery serves as a manual backup if the keyfob is unavailable. The Antigravity Lithium Battery Tracker (sold separately) allows real-time battery monitoring via Bluetooth.

RE-START Technology: Built-In Wireless Jump Starting

This is the feature that makes the AG-51R-RS different from every other lithium battery on the market. If the battery ever gets discharged, press the button on the included wireless keyfob and the battery jump-starts itself. No jumper cables, no calling roadside assistance, no flagging someone down in a parking lot. You don't even have to open the hood. The battery handles it from inside the car. It can also be triggered manually using the button on top of the battery itself if you prefer.

Built-In Battery Management System (BMS)

The onboard BMS is what makes RE-START possible and what keeps this battery safe long term. It monitors the battery continuously and if it detects over-discharge coming, it puts the battery into a sleep state before it goes completely dead, while reserving just enough charge to start the car again. Beyond that, the BMS handles overcharge protection, short circuit protection, thermal protection, and cell balancing automatically. You don't manage any of it.

Up to 70% Lighter Than Lead/Acid

Depending on the model, the AG-51R-RS weighs between 8 and 16.5 lbs. A comparable lead/acid battery typically runs 35 to 60 lbs heavier. That weight reduction is up front in the engine bay, which directly affects handling, braking distances, and acceleration. Antigravity points out that a 30 lb weight reduction in carbon fiber or titanium parts would cost tens of thousands of dollars. A battery swap costs a fraction of that and drops the same weight in one of the best possible locations on the car.

High Cranking Power

The 30Ah version puts out 1200 cranking amps. The 24Ah version puts out 1000 cranking amps. Both are significantly higher than what a lead/acid battery of the same physical size produces. That means faster, more reliable cold starts and stronger voltage at startup, which matters most on high compression engines, cold weather startups, and vehicles with heavy electrical loads pulling from the battery at key-on.

Direct OEM Replacement, No Modifications Needed

The AG-51R-RS is built to the Group 51R BCI case size, which means it fits directly in the factory battery tray with no adapters, no fabrication, and no relocated battery hardware. Positive terminal is on the right side, matching the 51R orientation. Factory hold-downs and cables connect the same way they did before. It is a true bolt-in swap.

Longer Cycle Life Than Lead/Acid

Lithium iron phosphate chemistry gives this battery 2 to 3 times the cycle life of a comparable lead/acid battery. The full BMS extends that further by preventing the deep discharge events that kill lithium cells prematurely. Most people replacing lead/acid batteries are doing it every 3 to 5 years. The AG-51R-RS is designed to last significantly longer than that under normal use.

Low Self-Discharge During Storage

Lead/acid batteries drain themselves down during long storage periods, which is why seasonally stored vehicles almost always need a charge or a jump before the first start of the season. No Acid, No Lead, Safer Chemistry

There is no liquid acid inside to spill, no lead, no cadmium, no mercury. The LiFePO4 lithium iron phosphate chemistry is significantly safer than traditional lead/acid, both during normal use and in the event of damage. It will not release hydrogen gas while charging and will not leak corrosive liquid onto your chassis or paint if the case is compromised. Dispose of it responsibly when it eventually reaches end of life, same as any battery.
