Product Description
The EcoBoost is a powerhouse engine, but the factory exhaust just doesn't do it justice. It’s quiet, restrictive, and frankly, a bit boring. COBB built the COBB F-150 Cat-Back to change that. COBB wanted a system that sounds tough when you step on it but stays civilized when you're towing a trailer or heading to the job site.
Making a V6 or V8 sound good is an art form. If you just slap straight pipes on it, it sounds like a tractor. COBB used a Triple-Chambered Muffler to carefully tune the sound waves. This internal design kills the high-pitched rasp and the cabin drone, delivering a clean, crisp exhaust note that actually sounds like a truck.
The weak point of most truck exhausts is the connection flanges—they warp, rust, and leak. COBB didn't cut corners there. COBB used Cast 304 Stainless Steel 2-Bolt Flanges. They are thick, robust, and provide a perfect seal with the included multi-layer steel gaskets. COBB even added an Integrated Flex Section to absorb engine movement and chassis flex, so you don't crack a hanger when you're off-road.
You bought an F-150 because you wanted a truck that works hard. Your exhaust should do the same. This isn't a cheap, loud pipe; it's a premium upgrade that improves flow, enhances the look of your truck, and sounds perfect. Plus, it's a direct bolt-on with no tuning required. Just install it, start it up, and enjoy the sound of quality.
