This "blow-by" mixes with the fuel, effectively lowering the octane rating and inviting the Subaru killer: detonation (knock). The COBB Tuning Air/Oil Separator is the fix. It intercepts that oily air before it hits the intake, scrubs it clean, and returns the oil to the oil pan where it belongs.

This isn't a simple catch can you have to empty every week. It is a maintenance-free system developed alongside the block experts at IAG Performance. The magic lies in the Cast Aluminum "Snail" Design. By directing crank pressure into a swirl pattern, the AOS uses centrifugal force to separate the heavy oil droplets from the air. The oil drains back down, and the clean air vents out.
