Part #IRL-V2-VC is a 100% plug-and-play system designed to override the factory DME's restrictive valve logic. It requires no cutting or splicing of your original harness. The module installs primarily in the trunk area, with wiring routed through factory grommets to the exhaust actuators. Please note that while this kit is reversible and won't trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL), it may store "shadow codes" (138110/138111) in the DME, which simply indicate the factory motors are unplugged. Professional installation is recommended to ensure wiring is secured away from high-heat exhaust components.
