• This is NRG's thinnest quick release at approximately 1 inch total depth, designed for applications where space between the steering wheel and column stalks is too limited for any other quick release to fit.
• It uses a pin-and-gear locking mechanism rather than the ball-locking system found in the NRG 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 series.
• NRG describes the pin-and-gear release as clunkier than ball-locking.
• This product should only be chosen when space constraints require the absolute minimum depth option.
• This quick release is NOT compatible with standard NRG short hub adapters (the SRK-1xxH vehicle-specific hubs).
• It requires a separate crush-type hub adapter specific to your vehicle.
• It is also not compatible with the NRG Quick Tilt system.
• Compatible with all 6-bolt steering wheels using 6x70mm or 6x74mm bolt patterns, including Momo, Sparco, NRG, Nardi, OMP, and similar aftermarket brands.
• Installation requires removal of the factory steering wheel and typically the factory airbag.
• This product is designated for show, off-road and competition use only.
• Professional installation is recommended.

All five variants are mechanically identical. The suffix indicates the color finish only. Select the color that matches your interior build.

Product Description

Our thinnest possible Quick Release, at just around 1" in total depth. While it be a bit clunky in comparison to our typical "ball-locking" style, we have found that in some cases when space is very cramped, this Quick Release is the only option that will work.
