Product Description

The PERRIN Equal Length Header (part number PSP-EXT-058) is a high-performance stainless-steel header made for modern turbocharged Subarus. It replaces the factory header/manifold to provide smoother and more efficient exhaust flow. This can lead to better turbo response, exhaust tone, and power delivery. This equal-length header is crafted from 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, ensuring resistance to corrosion and increased durability.

The header features larger primaries and secondaries, about 14% bigger than stock. This allows exhaust gases from all cylinders to exit with equal flow timing. The balanced output speeds up turbo spool, lowers exhaust back-pressure, and helps maintain a more consistent power delivery under boost.

The design keeps compatibility with the OEM heat shield and uses factory-style flanges, making installation easier and helping manage heat in the engine bay, which is vital for oil and thermal stability under the hood. According to PERRIN, no ECU retune is absolutely necessary for basic use. The header works well with many existing bolt-on modifications, including stock or aftermarket up-pipes and turbos.
