PRL Motorsports' rear motor mount was developed in response to a common gripe in the automotive community – the excessive rattling experienced after installing motor mounts. To tackle this issue head-on, we've taken a unique approach. PRL Motorsports' mount utilizes two press-fit 60A EPDM bushings, setting it apart from the competition. We've crafted this design after extensive data collection and real-world feedback from diverse vehicles and drivers. At its core is an I-beam structure, known for its resilience against bending, stress, vibrations, and shock. PRL Motorsports has bolstered its rigidity and strength compared to factory mounts, ensuring it can seamlessly fit a wide range of applications.

The innovative design eliminates potential gaps, making sure there are no metallic vibrations or noises. It allows the EPDM bushings to effectively absorb engine and chassis vibrations. Further, PRL Motorsports' bushings feature a zinc-coated finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. The choice of EPDM as the bushing material is critical, given its high resistance to environmental factors and durability. Its higher density permits the use of softer, lower durometer bushings that minimize engine vibrations while enhancing rigidity compared to factory mounts. Unlike urethane bushing inserts, EPDM bushings do not degrade over time. This is a choice aligned with OE manufacturers' standards, reflecting the quality and innovation of PRL Motorsports' motor mounts.
