Fitment Information

  • Common factory applications include:
    • Chevrolet Corvette C5 LS1 (1997-2004)
    • Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS LS1 (1998-2002)
    • Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am LS1 (1998-2002)

Fitment Note: Fits Gen III LS engines (LS1 and LS6) only. Does not fit Gen IV LS engines including the LS2, LS3, and LS7. Gen IV engines replaced the serviceable PCV valve with a fixed 2.5mm orifice beginning in 2004. Gen IV buyers need the Radium 20-0785-FL kit instead. If you are unsure whether your LS engine is Gen III or Gen IV, confirm the engine code before ordering.

  • Prevents oil buildup in the intake or intercooler system walls, throttle body, intake manifold, etc.
  • Excessive oil collection can be an indicator of a damaged engine.
  • Lowers hydrocarbon emissions
  • Capacity: 7 fluid ounces
  • The anodized aluminum catch can bracket mounts to the front RH side of the cylinder head. 
  • The anodized aluminum bracket mounts to the front right-hand side of the cylinder head.
  • Verify that sufficient clearance exists in the mounting area before ordering.
  • Some engine setups with aftermarket belt-driven accessories including superchargers may not have adequate clearance.
  • Consult the Radium installation instructions before ordering if running forced induction.
  • The Fluid Lock mechanism is a patented Radium design that prevents the reservoir from overfilling and pushing collected fluid back into the intake system if not emptied on schedule.
  • Monitor the catch can level using the integrated dipstick starting at 3 to 4 weeks after installation and repeat as needed to establish an emptying interval specific to your engine.
  • All hardware for a complete installation is included.

Product Description

Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. These kits include everything needed for a complete installation. The catch can is plumbed in-line with a PCV valve and draws out oil and water condensation from the crankcase gasses that would otherwise be drawn into the intake manifold. Furthermore, the closed system prevents unwanted oil vapors from entering into the cabin.
